The KBIC Solid Waste Facility provides service to over 400 customers with curbside trash pick up in the L'Anse & Baraga area. We also have a full-service transfer station that is open to the public located in Baraga.

$105.00 per ton/$2.75 per 33-gallon bag
Mattress: $6.00
Couch: $8.00
Chair: $4.00
Microwave: $4.00
White goods: $10.00 (stove, fridge, washer, etc)
Minimum scale fee: $15.00 (280lbs & under)
Waste oil up to 10 gal per person a day, free no containers
Tires: Not being accepted
E-Waste: Not being accepted
Dump Trailer Rentals:
- Dump trailer: $100 rental fee + $105 per ton + $4 per mile
- 20 Yard Dumpster $150 + $105 per ton + $4 per mile
- 40 Yard Dumpster $200 + $105 per ton + $4 per mile
- All rentals are for 3 days and included in the rental fee is the pickup and drop off of the dumpsters
