We provide quality and culturally appropriate early childhood care for the Children of our community. Children are provided a safe and nurturing environment for their physical, social, and intellectual growth, with 2-3 hours a day of physical activity outdoors, weather permitting.

The Ojibwe language and culture are incorporated into the Pre-Primary Program in a way that is appropriate for the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. To strengthen our Ojibwe language and culture, we provide story-telling, crafts, music, dance, songs and involvement from our elders, parents and volunteers in activities both inside and outside the classroom. We always respect the culture of all our families and invite them to share their cultural components also.
