The Ojibwa Community Library serves the members of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and the surrounding communities. We are open to the public, and provide free library memberships to those who wish to use our library.

The Library offers materials for all ages:
- A large selection of Native American fiction and non-fiction
- Popular fiction and non-fiction titles
- A small audio-book and DVD collection
Library Services include:
- Free WiFi and 6 public computers
- Limited photocopying and laminating services (please call for prices)
- Access to the inter-library loan program and Great Lakes Digital Library
- Community educational events and reading challenge programs
About Us
The Ojibwa Community Library is located at 409 S. Superior Ave. in Baraga, MI, and opened in 2002 to serve the students of the Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College and surrounding community. The Library is now a part of the KBIC’s Education Department, and is open to the public. To obtain a library card, prospective patrons need to bring in a form of ID (state, military, tribal, passport, etc.), and need to live in Baraga county or surrounding communities.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a collection of print and non-print materials to meet the lifelong learning, recreational, research, cultural, and informational needs of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community for all ages.
