The KBIC Solid Waste Facility provides service to over 400 customers with curbside trash pick up in the L’Anse & Baraga area. We also have a full-service transfer station that is open to the public located in Baraga.

Rates:

• $110.00 per ton/$3 per 33-gallon bag
• Minimum scale fee: $15.00 (260lbs & under)

Not Being Accepted:

• Tires
• E-Waste
• Hazardous waste 
• Paints
• Waste Oil

E-waste and other items not accepted regularly will only be accepted during designated special events.

Dump Trailer Rentals: All rentals are for 3 days and included in the rental fee is the pickup and drop off of the dumpsters

• Dump trailer: $125 rental fee + $110 per ton + $4 per mile
• 20 Yard Dumpster: $225 + $110 per ton + $4 per mile
• 40 Yard Dumpster: $275 + $110 per ton + $4 per mile
